So, let’s say you get a wholesale member signed up! Woo-hooooo! Worried about what comes next? Don’t be! We have everything you need to get your new member all plugged in!

Below is an easy step-by-step list of what we recommend you do when you get a wholesale member signed up with you. First and foremost, make sure your members know they are a part of the Dwell Well Collective. We send newsletters and offer classes, so it’s important that they recognize us and know we are there to support them, too.
.
We should never rely on any social media feed to educate anyone. It’s important to be keep personal in engaging with your members, so continue to reach out to them in DM’s, text and person.
.
But we do a lot as a team to educate members and connect with everyone, far more than any one person could ever do on their own, so it’s important to get your member plugged in to the DWC early on so you both benefit from the support.

1. Add them into our Facebook group Dwell Well Collective!

Tag them in the post at the top of the page. Remind them (via a message, text, or in person) that they are a part of the Dwell Well Collective now so you added them into this super helpful education group where they can learn how to detox their home and life as well as to get in on sales and giveaways, so they get the most of their YL membership.

Our education groups will be one of the most valuable resources for you and your new member. You could also tag them in any posts you think would be helpful based on their needs.
.
We recommend you add new members only to the Dwell Well Collective group first, long before you recommend other groups so they get a chance to settle in and connect to our community. Otherwise people tend to end up with information overload and don’t know where they belong! You don’t want them to silence all things Young Living before they are educated! They can request the other groups when they learn about them later or are ready or in need of more information.

Be aware of your enrollee in the group! Share your favorite products with the DWC so they see you participating. When they ask a question there or share something, be supportive with a “like” or a comment!

Enrollee not on Facebook? We are on Instagram! Not on social media? Connect more often on text or email!
.
We encourage our members to consider creating an account, if only just to participate in the groups! We don’t push them, just let them know how awesome the groups are. If they aren’t on FB, no problem. Make sure they follow on Instagram!
.
But if they aren’t on social at all, that just means you will want to make some additional effort throughout the month to see if they need any guidance and make sure they are in the loop on any promos. Make a list of who isn’t in groups so you can keep in touch.
.
Make sure your members are following Dwell Well Collective on Instagram! It’s not the same as being a part of the FB community, but we post lots of education there in stories and even have a “close friends list” where we share tips directly for our members. Message us on Instagram to us know if you have a member you’d like to be added to our exclusive list!

2. Send them a welcome email or text
Say hello, let them know you are here to help, and let them know they will be receiving a welcome email and text from the DWC! They can opt out of either, but we send optional educational classes that we think they will enjoy! If they know it’s coming, they will be more likely to opt in!

3.  Send them a welcome gift and/or a reference guide (optional, but effective!)

Empowering our members is so valuable! Some of our faves to send or recommend:
This simple starter guide: Oily Life Guide
This Reference book.
This app.

4. Send them their referral link!
Also optional but effective, send them their referral link so they’re ready if a friend asks about their oils or they decide to share! You could say something like, “Young Living gives all of their members a referral link so that you can make $50 just for referring a friend to get a kit! When you tell someone, be sure to give them your member number or link. This one is yours: xxx”

You can make them their link here.

5. Decide if you’re going to strategically place them.

When you enroll someone you have to option to change their sponsor within 30 days as a way to help you structure your downline. If this is one of your first members, you probably don’t need do anything! You can just leave them where they are. As you grow, you may want to learn more! We cover Restructuring your downline here when you’re ready to learn more!

5. Follow up
Check in via call, text, or email after about a week to see if they received their kit, if they are enjoying their oils, and if they have any questions! Check up on them occasionally to see how they are doing and invite them to a class or offer them a fun tip on using their oils.
.
Optional: periodically send an email, text or snail mail to let members know about ER, specials or to offer helpful information about their membership. People really appreciate being in the loop. Just be friendly and stay in touch!
